Independent for Life: The 6-Week Strength Foundations for Adults 50+

18 sessions. A coach watching your form. Three abilities guaranteed — or your money back.

The three abilities

1

5 clean chair stands — no hands, no pushing off your knees

2

Carry 20 lbs across the room — steady walk, tall posture

3

A 30-second single-leg stand — on each leg, unassisted

Test on Day 1. Test on Day 42. If you complete all 18 sessions, submit your weekly form checks, and don't hit all three — full refund.

How coaching works

  • Weekly form-check videos: film one set, Gavin corrects your form personally
  • 1:1 text access: questions answered between sessions, not just during them
  • Cohort accountability: 12 people starting together, finishing together
  • Week 4 progress review + Day 42 guarantee test

The 6-week arc

Weeks 1–2 baseline and build · Weeks 3–4 progressive loading · Weeks 5–6 peak and taper · Day 42: the test.

Questions, answered straight

What if I've never lifted weights?

The program starts where the Starter Plan ended and loads you gradually. Load is earned — never assigned.

What equipment?

Chair, wall/counter, bottom stair with rail, dowel or broomstick, light + heavier dumbbells by Week 3.

What if I have a bad knee/shoulder?

Every exercise has regressions and "skip or modify" guidance — plus a coach reviewing your form weekly.

How much time?

30 minutes, 3× a week, 6 weeks. 18 sessions total.
